Former Prime Minister of China Li Keqiang has passed away. The 68-year-old former Prime Minister Khachiang died of a heart attack on Thursday night, according to the Chinese media.
The former prime minister was living in Shanghai. He was second in rank in the ruling Chinese Communist Party (CCP) after President Xi Jinping.
Li Keqiang, one of the leaders who rose from the lower ranks of the CPC, was once even discussed as the future prime minister.
Having studied at Peking University, he was also an expert in economics.
