Oman has set a target of 146 runs to the home team Nepal in the ICC T-20 World Cup Asia region qualifiers.
After losing the toss, Oman lost the toss and scored 145 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Nepal’s Karan KC took 3 wickets. Sompal Kami and Sandeep Lamichhane took 2 wickets each while Gulshan Jha and Avinash Bohora took one wicket each.
Jason Maqsad, captain of Oman, scored the highest 32 runs. Similarly, Naseem Khushi scored 25 runs, Prateek Athawa scored 24 runs and Sakil Ahmed scored 22 runs. Other batsmen could not score double runs. The match between Nepal and Oman will decide the winner of Group A. Both teams have reached the semi-finals.
This game is very important for both teams to play the World Cup. There have been four matches between Nepal and Oman in T20. In which Nepal won three games and Oman won one game. Despite having 4 points in the same two matches, Oman is at the top because of net return rate.
