4 August, Kathmandu. India got off to a winning start by defeating Bangladesh 3-0 in the opening match of the U-19 SAFF Championship.
SAFF U-19 Championship In the first minute of the game, Gogomsar Gary scored a goal from Naoba Miiti’s header pass from in front of the post and gave India the lead.
After that, Naoba Miyati scored a goal in the injury time of the first half to give India a 2-0 lead.
In the first half, Bangladesh created some opportunities but failed to score due to mistakes in finishing.
In the second half, Bangladesh showed some improvement and prevented India from scoring, but India managed to add a goal when the scheduled time of the game was over.
Arjun Singh scored to give India a 3-0 win.
