Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’ will release in the new year
Mumbai. South superstar Kamal Haasan is in the limelight recently because of the film ‘Indian 2’. Haasan is seen as an officer who fights against corruption in the film, which was made with a budget of around 250 crores. The production unit has said that the film will be released in the coming new year.
A poster of the film was released on Sunday. The intro of the film will be released after some time. The film is made as a sequel to ‘Indian’. Released in 1996, ‘Indian’ is Haasan’s hit film. The film was directed by Shankar. The second part is also written and directed by Shankar.
Kajal Aggarwal will be seen opposite Haasan in the film. Rakulpreet Singh, Siddharth and Bobby Simha also have lead roles in the film. The production of ‘Indian 2’ was announced in 2017. The producer of the film is AM Ratnam. The shooting of the film started in January 2019. The film was shot in Chennai, Bhopal and Gwalior. Some scenes have been shot in Johannesburg and Taiwan.
In 2020, there was an accident on the shooting set of this film. Because of this, 3 members of the team lost their lives. The release of the film was stopped due to various reasons including distributor, Corona. Now the production unit has planned to release the film in the beginning of the new year.
